Four of the six works performed in the Collegiate Flute Choir’s delightful program, conducted by Kelly Via, were NFA or world premieres (two of each). The latter were Peter Senchuk’s North Star Overture and David R. Peoples’ Combustible Corridor V (Coyote Brings Fire). New to NFA convention stages were Lilac Dream by Christopher Alan Schmitz and E. J. Foust’s The Birds of Eden.

The choir also performed Kyriale by Alexandra Molnar-Suhajda and Via’s arrangement of The Girl from Ipanema by Antonio Carlos Jobim.
