| The Greater Indianapolis Flute Club announces the first triennial Claude Monteux Young Artist Competition, with a first prize of $3,000. Semi-Final and Final Rounds will be held in conjunction with the 2009 GIFC Flute Festival January 30th and 31st At the Hilbert Circle Theatre in downtown Indianapolis. Deadline for submitting the preliminary recorded round is November 1, 2008. |
