Jacob Berg, Principal flutist of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, and a faculty member of the St. Louis Conservatory of Music and Washington University, studied flute with William Kincaid at the Curtis Institute of Music and Briton Johnson at Peabody. He has also been principal flutist of the Buffalo, Cincinnati, and Kansas City Orchestras as well as a member of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. Mr. Berg has served the NFA with distinction. He was Program Chair of the 1978 convention in Washington, D.C., a member of the Board of Directors from 1978 – 1980 and NFA President for the year 1981-82.
