Professional Flute Choir Concert

The Professional Flute Choir

I was a performer with the Professional Flute Choir, conducted by Steven Byess and Pamela Youngblood, which spent more than eight hours in rehearsal to prepare for its concert. The repertoire was some of the most difficult performed in recent memory. Favorites on the program included "Streaming Green" by Nancy Galbraith, "Rhosymedre" (a National Flute Association premiere) by Ralph Vaughan Williams, arr. Nancy Nourse, Suite from El Amor Brujo by Manuel de Falla, arr. Shaul Ben-Meir, and "Bird House" by Efrain Amaya.
