Anderson Musical Instrument Insurance Solutions, in conjunction with the Hanover Insurance Group, is pleased to offer outstanding, low-cost, specialized insurance coverage for musical instruments at a discount to all NFA members. Anderson has been providing quality instrument insurance for over 25 years. Their coverage is available for flutists of all types: those at home and those living or traveling abroad; professionals, amateurs, and students.

NFA members may purchase flute insurance for the low rate of $.50/$100 of covered value. $160.00 (minimum annual premium including policy fee) will cover up to $27,027 of itemized instruments with no deductible.

NFA members can also take advantage of a 3-year guaranteed premium option. As of March 2024, prepay for 2.25 years (2 years, 3 months) now and receive the remaining 9 months at no cost. 

Note the term adjustments were applied on 3/14/24. Effective immediately for new business, and approximately 30 days from now for those renewing their 3-year policies, new terms will require a prepayment of 2.25 years to receive 3 years of coverage instead of the previous payment of 2 years to obtain 3 years of coverage. For all other insured individuals (non-musician association members), the prepayment requirement will increase from 2.25 premiums to 2.5 premiums for a 3-year prepaid policy.
