Do I need to be a member of the NFA to attend the annual convention?
Yes, you must be a current member as of August 1st of the convention year.
Is there an additional fee for registering on site at the convention?
Yes, there is a registration fee surcharge if you register on-site. Be sure to take advantage of our special pre-registration rates by registering online, or by sending in your registration form by July 1st each year.
What month does the convention take place?
The convention is always in August, usually the second or third week.
Do you offer financial assistance or scholarships for the convention?
The Myrna Brown Scholarship awards one scholarship every other year, beginning in 2008, by providing partial financial assistance to a flutist from an economically challenged country to attend the NFA Convention. In addition, membership dues in the NFA and convention fees are waived for one year. Please visit the Myrna Brown Scholarship page for further details.
