The National Flute Association, founded in 1973, is the largest flute organization in the world. Approximately 6,000 members from more than 50 countries join together in person, online, at conventions, informally and in forums, through publications and classrooms, in performance, in friendship and collegiality. When does the membership year begin?
The membership year runs from August 1 to July 31 annually.
If I join in the middle of the year, are my membership dues prorated?
No, but you will receive any mailings you may have missed, such as back issues of the Flutist Quarterly, the membership directory, convention brochure, etc.
How can I join as a student member?
You must be a full-time student at an accredited institution with a valid student ID.
