Nfaonline.org is getting a facelift! Not only will the website have a fresh look and feel, it will also be mobile-friendly and designed for a better user experience, no matter what device you're browsing on. 2019 Frances Blaisdell Scholarship Recipient

The recipient of this year's Frances Blaisdell Scholarship is Iman Williams. Iman is a rising senior at Virigina Commonwealth University, where she is pursuing a Bachelor's in Music Performance.
"I am so excited to be attending the NFA convention thanks to the Frances Blaisdell scholarship! I believe that this experience will greatly help me further towards my goals of improving my technique and being an educator and a role model for other flutists of color."

NFA Elections and Bylaws Revision
Information about NFA election candidates is now online. Please review the 2019 candidates’ statements and biographies. The office of assistant secretary is an elected position. Board positions are ratified for three-year terms.
Voting opens July 1 and closes at 5:00 p.m. (MDT) on August 4. We will announce the election results during the 2019 convention closing ceremonies and in the Fall issue of The Flutist Quarterly.
The proposed updates to the bylaws will be posted soon.
