The Popular Pedagogy Masterclass Returns

Announcing the return of the popular convention event, Masterclass Skills 101: The Art of Giving a Masterclass for the College Interview Process

This masterclass, hosted by the NFA Pedagogy Committee, will help applicants hone their skills and gain valuable constructive criticism in a mock interview scenario.
The Pedagogy Committee is looking for three potential job “candidates” to give a 15-20-minute mini-masterclass to college-age students. A panel of flute professors will provide feedback on how to connect with the audience and performer, discuss effective communication skills, and review the candidates’ presentation of concepts.

Please refer to the model job vacancy announcement posted on the NFA website. Qualified individuals should send a cover letter, CV, philosophy of teaching statement, and reference contact information to Cassandra Eisenreich, NFA Pedagogy Committee Chair, at cassandra.eisenreich@gmail.com. Application review begins April 15, 2019, and will continue until the positions have been filled.
