A 2-part lecture workshop series featuring six very different etudes from Joachim Andersen's Op. 37 to illustrate how we can apply knowledge gained from historical performance practice to make playing these pieces wonderfully enjoyable. Although technically not very demanding, these short and concise etudes provide an ideal platform for developing an expressive technique and also give a wealth of space for personal creativity. A special shout-out to those who might be curious about historical playing but don't know where to start. In fact, you neither have to play on a period flute, nor is it only about baroque music! ALL FLUTISTS are welcomed.
