Her discography includes a release of 21st Century American Flute Sonatas.
Dedicated to service within the flute community, Dr. Easley has held numerous leadership roles. "The NFA has had a profound influence on my life and career as a professional flutist, providing a wealth of resources and engagement opportunities that continue to be an integral part of my work. I remember flying from Alaska to my first few conventions as a student, internally “fangirling” over famous flutists. As the years passed, I’ve become more integrated into this community, and I am so grateful to count on seeing my flute friends annually at conventions.
"Functioning in a variety of roles, I’ve served on the board, acted as Committees Liaison, and coordinated competitions. My involvement has spanned almost every facet of the convention, from judging and performing to volunteering and conducting flute choirs. A personal highlight was being a member of the program committee for the 2021 Summer Series—a massive undertaking of over 90 events that kept our community connected during COVID.
"I look forward to continuing to serve the NFA as Vice President/President. I am dedicated to the organization’s mission of nurturing and supporting an inclusive and thriving global flute community, not only for the next generation of flutists, but for professionals, amateurs, and enthusiasts alike."
A two-year commitment; will serve one year as Assistant Secretary and the following year as Secretary.
