"Serving on the NFA Executive Board was such an amazing experience. I learned so much about the organization as a whole and all that is done behind the scenes to provide the flute community with valuable resources, opportunities, and an amazing annual convention. It cannot be done without volunteers like you!"

“We are so fortunate to have an organization like the NFA that supports, inspires, nurtures, and educates flutists from all walks of life. The NFA is a space for all of us to thrive in our quest to become better players, educators, and advocates for the flute and its repertoire. My love for the NFA has resulted in my volunteering time, talent, and treasure for many years as Jazz Flute Competition Coordinator, as a current member of the Board of Directors, and the IDEA Committee. It’s an honor to serve the NFA and work alongside so many passionate flutists. I encourage every member to volunteer and be more involved in our NFA.”

It allows me to make a difference in the life of many and create opportunities for the professional growth of young and talented flutists."
