The Atlanta Flute Club began in 1997 with a wonderful group of people who wanted to form an organization to promote the flute, to share knowledge, and to encourage each other to be better musicians.
Made up of flute majors at The Ohio State University, the purpose of the Central Ohio Flute Association at The Ohio State University is to promote music within the arts community and to provide professional and volunteer services. We host an annual flute festival with competitions for all ages, an exhibit hall and feature a guest artist as well as host a flute choir festival on a day in the spring.
Fireflutes' goal is to make music accessible to people of all walks of life through free performances. All are welcome!

The Seattle Flute Society was founded in 1979 by Felix Skowronek. We host the Myrna Brown professional competition, open to all ages, as well as the William and Donna Haire high school flute competition in association with our annual festival.
