Flute Club Affiliates Program
Flute Club Affiliates are independent, local flute clubs who work closely with the NFA to build closer connections with the flute club community! We work together to share information about events, performances, and opportunities with a global network of flutists.
Affiliate Clubs:
Atlanta Flute Club
The Atlanta Flute Club began in 1997 with a wonderful group of people who wanted to form an organization to promote the flute, to share knowledge, and to encourage each other to be better musicians.
Central Ohio Flute Association
Made up of flute majors at The Ohio State University, the purpose of the Central Ohio Flute Association at The Ohio State University is to promote music within the arts community and to provide professional and volunteer services. We host an annual flute festival with competitions for all ages, an exhibit hall and feature a guest artist as well as host a flute choir festival on a day in the spring.
Fireflutes
Fireflutes' goal is to make music accessible to people of all walks of life through free performances. All are welcome!
New Mexico Flute Association
The New Mexico Flute Association is dedicated to identifying, creating, and promoting opportunities for amateur, student, and professional flutists across the state to connect, play, learn, and perform in a positive and supportive community.
Seattle Flute Society
The Seattle Flute Society was founded in 1979 by Felix Skowronek. To honor "all things flute," the SFS presents a yearly season of events, including recitals, masterclasses, workshops, and competitions. Each event features distinguished artists in all avenues of flute playing - classical, jazz, baroque, contemporary, and world music.
Tucson Flute Club
Tucson Flute Club was founded more than 55 years ago and is still going strong! We operate a large flute choir, several small ensembles and concertize locally and internationally.
Bel Canto Flutes
Bel Canto Flutes is an all adult ensemble that has three sessions per year giving free performances across the Bay Area sharing our joy of music making with others.
Colorado Flute Association
The Colorado Flute Association fosters community, learning, and support among flutists statewide, offering inclusive performance and educational opportunities for all ages, abilities, and backgrounds since its founding in 1991.

The New York Flute Club
Founded in 1920 by eminent flutist Georges Barrère, composer Lamar Stringfield, and a group of their associates, the NYFC is the oldest such organization in the United States.
South Carolina Flute Society
Housed in the University of South Carolina Flute Studio, the South Carolina flute society serves to connect flute players of all ages in the state of South Carolina.
Capital City Flute Club, Inc.
The Capital City Flute Club (CCFC) is a non-profit organization which serves the performance and music education needs of the greater Boise and Idaho flute community.
Chicago Flute Club
Discover the Chicago Flute Club where flutists of all levels connect, learn, and excel through education, performance, and inspiration. Each season provides an extraordinary lineup of masterclasses, forums, performances, competitions, community building events and a biennial festival.
Greater Portland Flute Society
Our mission is to provide times and places for flutists of all ages, levels and walks of life to meet, exchange ideas, gain performance experience, play in ensembles, and generally promote and enhance flute playing in the greater Portland area. The Savannah Area Flute Association
The Savannah Area Flute Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing local flutists of all ages and abilities with many opportunities to perform and to study the flute.
Texas Flute Society
Texas Flute Society sponsors events, workshops, master classes and an annual festival each year, connecting flutists to educational resources and exciting opportunities. We host the Myrna Brown professional competition, open to all ages, as well as the William and Donna Haire high school flute competition in association with our annual festival.
