The Seattle Flute Society was founded in 1979 by Felix Skowronek. To honor "all things flute," the SFS presents a yearly season of events, including recitals, masterclasses, workshops, and competitions. Each event features distinguished artists in all avenues of flute playing - classical, jazz, baroque, contemporary, and world music.
