The NFA is thrilled to announce the winners and finalists of our 2026 competitions! Final rounds will take place at the 2026 NFA Convention in Portland, OR from Aug. 6-9, after which a complete list of winners will be announced. Flutists for each competition are listed in alphabetical order.
Special thanks is owed to Virginia Broffitt Kunzer (General Competitions Coordinator), Evan Pengra Sult (Assistant General Competitions Coordinator), all individual competition coordinators (named below), and all recorded round judges (named below), who volunteer countless hours to make these competitions run smoothly. Convention Performers Competition (Winners):
The winners will be featured during the 2026 NFA Convention in Portland, OR. Repertoire will be selected from the winners of the Newly Published Music Competition.
