The program book is your complete guide to the convention.

It contains the convention schedule, venue maps, event policies, and all other information that you need to know to have a successful convention. Physical program books must be purchased when you register for the convention for a fee of $5. The digital (pdf) program book and Guidebook Convention App are free. 

Any changes received after the program book goes to print will be listed in the Addenda (below). The most up-to-date schedule will be in the Guidebook Convention App -- available here!

Addenda

All changes made to convention programming after the printing of the 2026 program book are listed below.

Time/Date Updates

  • What It Means to be a Military Musician — This event will now occur on Saturday from 12:30 - 1:30 PM in Oregon Ballroom 203-204. NOT on Sunday or Friday. 
  • Exhibitor Showcase: Powell Flutes - Inside the Sound — This event has returned to Saturday from 9:45 - 10:10AM in A103-104. NOT on Thursday at 12:00 PM. 
  • Flute Ensemble Festival Concert - Central Washignton University Flute Choir and Highline Flute Ensemble — This event will now occur on Thursday from 12:15 - 1:30pm with Highline Flute Ensemble performing first followed by the CWU Flute Choir. It will NOT be Thursday from 11:45am - 1:00pm

Competition Updates

  • Piccolo Artist — Erica Vogel has withdrawn from the competition. Alternate Meadhbh O'Rourke will be competing. 
  • High School Soloist — Ella Zhang has withdrawn from the competition. Alternate Alyson Lee will be competing.
  • High School Masterclass — Alyson Lee has moved to the solo competition. Alternate Angela Fu will now perform in the masterclass.

  • 2:45 PM — High Expressions — "Sonata for Two Violins" by Sergei Prokofiev arranged for piccolo duet by Anke Lauwers will no longer be performed. Instead, Peter Verhoyen (piccolo) and Pieter-Jan Verhoyen (piano) will perform:
    • "Sonatina for Oboe and Piano" by Joseph Ryelandt (1870-1965) transcribed for piccolo and piano. Movements: Aria; Allegretto
