This session is intended for students considering studying music in college and current undergraduate students pursuing graduate school auditions. Presenter Julie Stone will draw on her 30+ years of collegiate teaching experience to share helpful insights about the college audition process. Topics covered will include preparation, choosing an institution, audition research/repertoire, the application process, the live audition, recorded/virtual auditions, what the audition panel looks for, managing performance anxiety, audition results, resumes and repertoire lists, and careers in music.
