Join our chat with Vanessa Rose, Executive Director for the American Composers Forum (ACF), about how to engage your community in Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility work and why it matters. Members of the NFA's IDEA Committee will interview Vanessa on how she has approached - and learned from - the work at ACF with an open Q&A session for attendees at the end.
This session will feature a conversation with Kevin Kwan Loucks, who has cultivated a distinguished leadership profile founded on artistic excellence, entrepreneurship, and innovative strategic design. Mr. Loucks was appointed CEO of Chamber Music America in 2021 after co-founding Chamber Music | OC and serving as Director of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships at the Philharmonic Society of Orange County.
Drawing from his experience at Chamber Music America, Mr. Loucks will discuss the metrics and outreach used in their grant programs, considerations for staff and board makeup, and how your work in the community can address Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility goals.
