Holiday Giving Campaigns

As 2022 comes to a close and we celebrate the holiday season, we look back to all the accomplishments of this year and forward to everything the NFA hopes for in the new year. Between Giving Tuesday and the President’s Appeal, we have the combined goal of raising $50,000. We hope you will consider us in your holiday giving, so we might better serve our members and the greater flute community.

Giving Tuesday

This year, the NFA is taking part in Giving Tuesday for the first time! This international day of giving occurs annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving (November 29th this year). Donations on Giving Tuesday will help the NFA continue its mission of “inspiring flutists, enriching lives.” This is carried out through numerous programs, such as our competitions, the convention, NFA Online Events, and more.

To herald in this season for family, community, giving, and thanks, at the bottom of this page you will find that the NFA staff and leaders have made videos to share a bit about themselves, what they are thankful for, and what makes all of us so passionate about the NFA.

The President's Appeal

We recently sent out letters in the mail to members for the annual NFA President's Appeal, written by NFA Board President, Rebecca Johnson. You may have already received yours. Donations made to the NFA support any number of our programs and events, including convention scholarships, the Young Artist Mentorship Program, Youth Flute Day, and more. Any amount you want to give helps us reach our overall fundraising goal of $50,000 between the President’s Appeal and Giving Tuesday!
