2020 Competition Updates

Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2020 NFA competitions. We continue to be inspired by the entries we receive and look forward to watching the trajectories of all the flutists involved.
High School Soloist Competition
The winners are Delia Zaleski (1st place and Geoffrey Gilbert Scholarship winner), Erica Wang (2nd place), and Xiaoxi Li (3rd place). Erica Wang will also be awarded the Deveau Scholarship for earning the title Best Performance of Commissioned Work.
Junior Soloist Competition
The winners are Sooah Jeon (1st place), Ayne Park (2nd place), and Macy Gong (3rd place).
Orchestral Audition and Masterclass Competition
The winners are Aaron Rib (1st place), Drew Powell (2nd place), and Chaz Salazar (3rd place).
Piccolo Artist Competition (Sponsored by Keefe Piccolos)
The three finalists who will compete at the 2021 NFA Convention in Washington, DC, are Sarah Miller, Rebecca Tutunick, and Jona Venturi. Sarah Miller also placed for Best Performance of the Commissioned Work.
