Now Accepting Abstracts for Poster Sessions

A New Way to Participate in the 2019 Convention

Join the NFA in a new initiative to share innovative research and ideas from the flute community! The NFA invites members to submit abstracts for Poster Sessions at the 2019 Annual NFA Convention in Salt Lake City. Posters selected for display will represent the best flute-related research and investigation.
The visual format of the poster allows researchers to display their concepts succinctly and invite conversation. During scheduled poster sessions, authors will be present to discuss their work with attendees.

Learn More and Submit.

The deadline is February 15, 2019. Applicants will be notified of a decision by April 1, 2019.

Support Our Year-End Initiatives

The Annual President's Appeal

As you complete your charitable giving for 2018, please consider a donation to the NFA. President Joanna Bassett's letter highlighted the numerous ways your donations benefit our community of flutists. For instance, donations help the NFA provide scholarships for under-resourced flutists across the country, commission new music, and fund other programs. Donate today to make a difference in the flute community.
