It contains the convention schedule, venue maps, event policies, and all other information that you need to know to have a successful convention. Physical program books must be purchased when you register for the convention for a fee of $5. Competition Updates

  • Junior Soloist Competition — Paige Jackson is replacing Tim Hagen as a judge.
  • Low Flute Artist Competition — 
    • Alycia Hugo has withdrawn. Alternate Kelly Mollnow Wilson will now compete with the following repertoire: When it rains/the river stands still by Lisa Bost Sandberg; Firefly Triptych (I, III) by Amanda Harberg
    • Mihoko Watanabe is replacing Meerenai Shim as a judge.
  • Piccolo Orchestral Audition & Masterclass Competition — Peter Verhoyen is replacing Horacio Massone as a judge. (Horacio Massone is still the clinician for this event)

Thursday

  • 10:15 AM — Electrifying! — Lindsey Goodman is the performer for the works: "Prowl", "Lava", and "Caffiend".
  • 1:00 PM — Flute Ensemble Festival Lobby Concert — Christin Lawhorne and Karen Scullion will no longer be performing.
  • 4:30 PM — The Afternoon of a Nymph — Pianist Róza Radnóti will replace Zoltan Fejervari.
  • 4:30 PM — Piccolo Originals! — Zach Galatis and Amy Likar should also be listed amongst the performers in the event description.
  • 4:30 PM — The Autobiography of Severino Gazzelloni — This lecture will be presented by Michael Stoune.
  • 4:30 PM — Georgia Flutist in Concert I — Roya Farzaneh and Alyssa Mercedes Mena are not performing on this concert.

  • 10:30 AM — Works for Flute Choir by New and Emerging Black Composers — The correct portions to be performed of JS Bach's The Well-Tempered Clavier are: Prelude No. XXII in B-flat Minor and Fugue No. I in C Major transcribed and arranged by Cynthia Cozette Lee
  • 11:30 AM — Digital Harmony: Presence Online — Panelists: Gillian Derer, Taylor Rossi, and Ceylon Mitchell II

  • 11:00 AM — Youth Flute Day Flute Choir Rehearsal — ADDITIONAL REHEARSAL, this rehearsal will run from 11-11:30am in Dunwoody.
