Perform in a Flute Choir!

All flutists are invited to join one of the flute choirs below, which will rehearse and perform at the NFA convention.

IMPORTANT SIGN-UP INFO: For most choirs, you will receive an email with links to join the ensemble after you register for the convention. Ensembles fill on a first come, first-served basis, and many will reach capacity before the convention begins. Early registration is strongly encouraged. Please note that there will not be a closing flute orchestra this year (other exciting things are in store!).

Special note: If you are attending the convention but not registering yourself (e.g., you are working for an Exhibitor who will complete registration on your behalf), please email Mily Montanez to sign-up for a flute choir.

Participants should plan to bring their own music stand.

Opening Flute Orchestra

Wednesday (Aug. 5), 3pm - 5pm
Wednesday (Aug. 5), 8pm - 10pm
Thursday (Aug. 6), 8am - 9am

Performance: Thursday (Aug. 6), 9am - 10am (during Annual Meeting & Opening Ceremonies)

Melanin Rhapsody Flute Choir

Friday (Aug. 7), 8:00am - 9:30am

Performance: Saturday (Aug. 8), 2:30pm - 3:30pm

United States Armed Forces Ensemble

Calling all flutists who have served or are currently serving in the US Armed Forces: You are invited to join us in a special ensemble featuring current/former military flutists.
