Teddie Talks Traverso: Your First Steps on the Baroque Flute

Virtual Event

Description

Curious about the baroque flute but not sure where to begin? Feel welcomed right here! Join Teddie Hwang (chair NFA Historical Flutes Committee) in this month-long workshop, designed for modern flutists and beginners alike. No question is too basic and you'll be surrounded by other like-minded flutists! Through clear demonstrations and hands-on playing, participants will explore the basics of sound production, posture, and fingerings, while discovering what makes the baroque flute expressive in such a unique way.
