Teddie Talks Traverso: An Ornamentation Lesson with Telemann

Description

Learn a wealth of information about ornamentation through his Methodical Sonatas and other works! Join Teddie Hwang (chair NFA Historical Flutes Committee) and Eva Legêne on a deep dive into the world of ornamentation according to Telemann. We'll learn about how Telemann shows us precisely how different ornaments should be played, resulting in an interpretation that's stylish and expressive. ALL FLUTE PLAYERS, regardless modern or baroque, are warmly welcomed! BRING YOUR INSTRUMENT! This workshop has two dates.
