In 18th-century Paris, flutists were among the city’s musical stars. Michel Blavet brought a new level of virtuosity and expression, inspired by the Italian violin style, captivating Parisian audiences and defining the sound of the flute alongside Braun, Quantz, and Taillart.

Keynote Speaker: Pedro Eustache

Pedro Eustache—the internationally-acclaimed French-trained multi-instrumentalist and “Flute Guy”—is our 2026 keynote speaker. Known for collaborations with Hans Zimmer and John Williams, major film and video game soundtracks, and viral Game Awards appearances, Eustache bridges classical artistry and global musical innovation.
